T4 To T3 Sky Train Extension

Construction of fixed facilities supporting the PHX Sky Train Extension from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 (Phase 1A) with a project valuation of approximately $140 million. This project will compete for a portion of the United States Department of Transportation Discretion Grants for the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) program which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Goodyear Taxiway Alpha

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified design-build Team to provide services for the design and construction modifications for the Taxiway “A” intersections located at the Phoenix Goodyear airport (FAA). The project is to replace, widen and add new taxiway intersections to Taxiway “A” to meet Group IV category aircraft. The project will involve widening and strengthening of Acute Angle Connectors in asphalt pavement. Work will also include airfield electrical lighting and signage, grading and drainage work to the respective infields and perimeter road, taxiway striping, and associated surveying. The project will be executed as Design-Build and is funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (AIP Grants). There will be requirements associated with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation and adherence to the FAA Grant process.

Engineering/Consulting On-Call Services For Fiscal Years 2010/2011 & 2011/2012

The City of Phoenix is seeking qualified consultants to provide engineering/consulting on-call services citywide on an as-needed basis from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012. The City will retain the engineers for a two-year contract term. Up to 60 firms will be selected. The consultant will be responsible for providing services to various City Departments including, but not limited to: Aviation, Convention Center, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Public Works, Street Transportation and Water Services Department. The scope of the work for the on-call projects may include studies, plan review, special inspections, programming, master plans, design, construction document development (plans, specifications and cost estimates) and construction administrative services.

Deer Valley Airport Airfield Safety Enhancements Construction Manager at Risk (FAA)

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide design phase assistance and construction phase services for Deer Valley Airport Airfield Safety Enhancements. The City intends to construct phased improvements to the DVT airfield safety areas, airport drainage areas, Runway 7R/25L landing threshold and associated lighting relocation, aircraft run-up areas, Taxiway A reconstruction/relocation, various apron reconstruction and Runway 7L/25R widening and reconstruction. This project is funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) utilization will be required.
